Limited-edition ‘Christmas by the fire’ yule log
An exquisite creation by Jean Imbert and renowned pastry chefs Angelo Musa and Elisabeth Hot, this ‘Christmas by the fire’ yule log draws inspiration from the Plaza Athénée’s marble fireplaces. Featuring intricate sculptural mouldings and handcrafted iron accents, the creators combine festive tradition with artisanal dessert-making.
This rich cake is formed with an almond biscuit base and layered with almond praline, almond cream, and topped with cascara coffee-infused chocolate ganache. For an element of freshness, the deep flavours are balanced by a light meadowsweet and sweet clover mousse.
As tempting as an evening by the fireplace.
